I'm Jenny Wren, and I coach runners through The Next Mile. I started running later in life, which taught me a lot about taking things gradually and finding approaches that actually stick. I believe most people can develop into strong runners when they have the right kind of guidance.
I create custom training plans through Final Surge that match your goals and where you're at fitness-wise. We'll check in regularly, and if something isn't working, we change it. I'll give you feedback on your training so you understand what you're doing and why it matters.
Every plan includes strength training because I think it's crucial for running better and staying injury-free. My whole approach is about sustainable running—finding a way to make it work in your actual life. Having been through my own health journey, I know how important it is to be patient with yourself and notice the progress you're making.
If you're in the Lillestrøm/Oslo area, I offer hybrid coaching with monthly in-person sessions where we can do things like lactate testing and work on your form, plus the online plan. I also do nutritional guidance, either by itself or as part of your training.
My focus is on clear guidance and support as you figure out what you can do as a runner, at your own pace.
